Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has
warned any clubs interested in Michu that his call up for Spain has
driven the price to more than £30million.
Michael
Laudrup indicated that he believed Michu was worth £30million last
December, barely four months into the forward’s incredible debut season
in the Barclays Premier League season following his £2.2m bargain move
from Rayo Vallecano.
But
Jenkins insisted yesterday that the 27-year-old’s selection for the
World Cup qualifiers against Belarus and Georgia has pushed the price up
even higher for a player chosen ahead of Tottenham’s £26m strike
Roberto Soldado.
