Wilfried Bony Complete is £28m Man City move from Swansea

Ivorian Striker has finally completed the much awaited move to Manchester City, he has agreed a four-and-a-half-year deal at Etihad Stadium and will wear the number 14 shirt.

Bony joined Swansea for £12m from Vitesse Arnhem in 2013 and was the Premier League's top scorer in 2014 with 20 goals.

The two clubs agreed the terms of the transfer at the weekend, with £25m cash up front and a further £3m in performance-related add-ons.

Bony is on international duty with Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations and could potentially have to wait until mid-February before he can make his City debut.

U-21 Arsenal Team captain switch Allegiance from England to become a Nigerian

Arsenal U21 captain, Alex Iwobi has finally dumped England and will play for Nigeria.

According to curled report, the 18-year-old – who is Super Eagles legend Jay-Jay Okocha’s nephew is excited to play for Nigeria under coach, Samson Siasia.
Iwobi, who captain’s Arsenal’s Under 21 side, is highly rated at the Emirates Stadium and has already signed professional terms.

The teenager, who was born in Lagos, has represented England at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 18 level but Nigeria want to snatch the forward from under the FA’s noses.
Iwobi is close to making his first-team breakthrough at the Emirates Stadium. He featured on the bench for Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Galatasaray in December.

The youngster, who can play on either wing, scored eight times in 35 appearances for Arsenal’s various youth sides last season.

Arsenal offer three-year contract to Chuba Akpom

Arsenal have reportedly offered highly-rated forward Chuba Akpom a new three-year contract to stay at the club.

The 19-year-old has built his reputation with fine performances of the club's Under-21 side, but his current deal is set to expire in the summer.

Akpom's contract situation means that he is now allowed to hold talks with foreign clubs, and there is interest from Feyenoord, FC Twente and Borussia Dortmund, according to the Evening Standard.
However, Arsene Wenger is keen to keep the striker at the club, and he is hopeful of persuading him to sign an extension in the near future.

Nigeria Super Eagles to Play Yemen in a Friendly, after Sudan makes a U-turn

The Sudanese National team has called off  there earlier scheduled friendly match with Super Eagles Saturday 17 January.
Vanguard reports that Sudan gave no reason for pulling out of the game but a make-shift arrangement has been made by the Nigeria Football Federation to see the Eagles keep their schedule intact as Nigeria will now play Yemen on Saturday at the Sevens Stadium in the beautiful city of Dubai.

Nigeria lost 0-1 to Cote d'voire on Sunday in there first 2015 competitive friendly match. Stand-in Coach Daniel Amohacki says Eagles need to keep improving after the lost to the Elephants in an interview with the Sun Reporter.
