FIFA Acknowledge 'Majority Report' And Uphold Election

The World football governing body  FIFA have written to the NFF, acknowledging the 'majority report' of the NFF Electoral Appeals Committee.

It has been another long week in the Glass House after two reports were released within twenty-four hours of each other, with the Chairman, Barr Okey Ajunway's 'minority' report calling for new elections.

Sources were able to get their hands on a copy of the letter to show has an evidence. 
According to the letter, the International governing body of world football has accepted the ruling of the report first released by members of the committee.

FIFA further stated that they will now be looking forward to arranging  proper introductory meeting between  president Sepp Blatter (FIFA) and the newly-elected NFF president, Amaju Pinnick.

London Based Nigeria Talented Footballer Stabbed To Death

Joel Adesina, a Nigerian teenager, was stabbed in the stomach during a late-night row on Friday night last week in Bethnal Green, East London after Joel and his friends were ambushed while taking a walk and were chased into a housing belongings where he was murdered according to reports. 

He was an ‘ambitious’ and ‘hard-working’ teenager who was talented enough to play professionally in the topflight of the English football league.
According to the Daily Mail, Joel was rushed to the hospital where he died three hours later into Saturday morning.

The police arrested an 18 year-old suspect but later released with no further action to be taken.
Friends and manager of the teenager’s football team represented him a gentle young boy who never stayed out late as he was mostly seen returning home in his football kits.

His coach at Bardag FC Yellows, Ricky Downes, said: ”Joel as a winger was ’as good as gold” and talented enough to play professionally,’.
’To say that myself and the club are devastated is an understatement, we are absolutely in bits.
‘’Joel was a wonderful young lad who had the world at his feet.

’He was a very talented footballer and had ambitions of playing professionally. I think he had a future in the sport and could have played for a living.

Detective Chief Inspector Chris Jones of the Met’s Homicide and Major Crime Command said: ‘Anyone who may have witnessed this altercation or have information which could assist the investigation is asked to contact the police as soon as possible.’

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers slammed his team’s first half display in their 1-1 draw with FC Basel, a result which saw them get eliminated from the Champions League, according to Skysports reports.
Despite starting the second half on better terms, they were shortly reduced to 10 men when Lazar Markovic picked up a red card for swinging his arm at Behrang Safari.

Rodgers revealed his unhappiness at their display in the first half after admitting his team was not good enough to compete in the latter stages of the competition, but did have some praise for their performance during the second half.

“The expectation was to get through the group and we haven’t done that,” he said. “It wasn’t good enough over the course of the group, but we will learn from the experience. We need to be better.
“First half we were very disappointing, our possession and our position in the game was disappointing. Technically we were way short, but second half the players were magnificent.

“The players gave everything in the second half,” he added. “The quality, tempo and speed of the game was better and it looked like they (Basel) were hanging on by the end.”

Liverpool will now be looking forward to kick start another era has they are been eliminated from Champions League to Europa League, this is chance for them to still prove them self in Europe.
