Swiss-Nigeria Footballer Switches Allegiance to Nigerian Fully
World football governing body, FIFA, has cleared former Swiss U-20
international, Steven Archibong Effiong Ukoh, to play for the Super
Eagles at senior level.
The versatile midfielder, born on June 19, 1991 to Nigerian parents in Berne, Switzerland, currently plays for Biel-Bienne FC in the European country but has now switched his nationality to Nigerian, to enable him play for Super Eagles.

Nigeria's U-23 Team To Play Egypt
The Nigeria national Under 23 team, golden eaglet are scheduled to face their Egyptian counterparts in a four-legged friendly matches in January 2015 ahead of their All- Africa Games qualifier against Gabon on February 7, According to what Nigeria Football Federation said.
The first two games will hold in Nigeria on January 15 and 17 respectively, while the other two games will be played in Egypt on January 20 and 22.
The Under 23 head coach, Samson Siasia commended the work NFF for arranging the matches, stating that the games would put his team in the right shape and frame of mind before their crucial Tournaments.
Boss Saisia also said his team would be departing for Turkey, after the friendlies against Egypt for another round of intensive training.

has been given one-match ban, fined £25,000 and his also ordered by Football Association to attend an education course after making racist and anti-semitic comments on
social media.
According to reports from this is Anfield news "The Italy international last week accepted a charge of an aggravated breach of Football Association rule E3, relating to references of ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality or religion or belief, after his posting of an image of computer game character Super Mario on Instagram which included the words "jumps like a black man and grabs coins like a Jew".
Balotelli 24, did not request a personal hearing but submitted written mitigation to an independent disciplinary panel.
The FA said in a statement: "Following an independent regulatory commission hearing today Mario Balotelli has been fined £25,000, suspended for one-match with immediate effect, subject to any appeal, and warned as to his future conduct after he admitted breaching FA rules in relation to social media.
"The charge was that an image the Liverpool player posted on social media was abusive and/or insulting and/or improper, contrary to FA rule E3(1).
He has accepted the punishment and went to his Facebook page apologizing to his Fans and Liverpool, below is the letter he wrote.
The striker will now miss Liverpool's match at home to Arsenal on Sunday, subject to any appeal. His expected to be back in action on boxing day the 26 of December when Liverpool lock horns with Burnley away from home.
