Real Madrid Stadium Santiago Bernabue To Be Renamed As 'Abu Dhabi Bernabeu'

The Arab money country 'Dubai' are now investing into sports all across the globe, has Abu Dhabi is set to have its name in front of one of the world's most iconic stadiums, the Santiago Bernabeu.

According to report, the Arab Emirate has sealed a financial partnership worth 15milion a year with Real Madrid in November 2014 and will last a reported 20-year period. Diarios AS claims this deal includes the naming rights for the club's stadium.

Micorsoft and Coca-Coal were also in the race to win the rights, but Spanish energy Cespa- which is owned by the IPIC (International Petroleum Investment Company), which is owned by the Abu Dhabi government - beat both companies to it.

Although president Florentino Perez was caught on camera saying the stadium will be called "IPIC or Cespa, whatever they want", but As reports the sponsors have settled for 'Abu Dhabi Bernabeu'.

Am Taking a Pay Cut to Join Real Madrid- Lucas Silva

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Brazilian 21-year-old midfielder Lucas Silva from Cruzeiro in Brazilian Championships.

Silva was introduce to the media at the Bernabeu on Monday afternoon after successfully undergoing a medical at Sanitas La Moraleja Hospital, according to reports.

The news comes just three days after the Spanish giants sign up 16-year-old Norwegian wonder kid Martin Odegaard.

Carlo Anchelotti has now been gifted with two talented players, young footballers in the past five days, but now the problem the manager will be experiencing his how to squeeze them into his plans.

The £11.5million man has took to his twitter account to say that he wants the move and because of this he has decided to take a pay cut in other for him to be a Madrid player.

Ronaldo breaks new Real Madrid Record



Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has marked yet another milestone in his fabulous career. Having matched the club record of goals away from home that was set by Raúl, ahead of the encounter, hitting the back of the net twice at the Coliseum against Getafe on Sunday, he is now on his own as the highest scorer Real Madrid history away from home, with a tally of 89 goals.

Fernando Torres scored the fastest goal in the history of Atletico at the Bernabeu (46 sec)


The newly recruited Atletico Madrid striker Torres has repaid his manager Diego Simone trust in him with two quick goals each half, against Real Madrid last night at the Bernabeu.

Elnino got is first goals since returning to his child hood club, firing his team to a 4-2 Copa Del Rey aggregate win and 2-2 draw of the night over the holders Real Madrid. Atletico led 2-0 from the first leg and Torres stunned the Bernabeu fans by smashing in left-footed volley after 46 seconds.

Real Madrid almost did it again just like in the last time they both team meet in the 2013 Uefa Champions League final, Sergio Ramos header levelled  things up but, in the first minute of the second half  Torres shows how desperate he was to get his fine form back on track by beating Pepe to slide in the second. 

Despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s equalizer in the late minute, Madrid need three goals to win the game. But the galaticos couldn't get the goals that will proceed them to the last eight.  

Atletico Madrid will now face another challenge in the last eight when they meet Barcelona who came routing by beating Elche 9-0 on aggregate.
