Fernando Torres scored the fastest goal in the history of Atletico at the Bernabeu (46 sec)


The newly recruited Atletico Madrid striker Torres has repaid his manager Diego Simone trust in him with two quick goals each half, against Real Madrid last night at the Bernabeu.

Elnino got is first goals since returning to his child hood club, firing his team to a 4-2 Copa Del Rey aggregate win and 2-2 draw of the night over the holders Real Madrid. Atletico led 2-0 from the first leg and Torres stunned the Bernabeu fans by smashing in left-footed volley after 46 seconds.

Real Madrid almost did it again just like in the last time they both team meet in the 2013 Uefa Champions League final, Sergio Ramos header levelled  things up but, in the first minute of the second half  Torres shows how desperate he was to get his fine form back on track by beating Pepe to slide in the second. 

Despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s equalizer in the late minute, Madrid need three goals to win the game. But the galaticos couldn't get the goals that will proceed them to the last eight.  

Atletico Madrid will now face another challenge in the last eight when they meet Barcelona who came routing by beating Elche 9-0 on aggregate.

Eto'o Close to Everton Exit has he Agrees deal with Sampadoria

Brazil legend, Ronaldo de Lima, plans to come out of retirement to play for Strikers

The 38-year-old, three-time World Player of the Year last played in 2011 but thinks he might be able to help Front Lauderdale Strikers, a team that he partly owns.

Ronaldo recently became a minority owner with the strikers, who play in America's second-tier North American Soccer League (NASL).

"A comeback may not be easy", he said at news conference, as quoted by Sky Sports.

I love soccer, i love to play, that was all my life, my big love. When i retired, i stooped playing because of pains and injuries all over my body he added.

''To play a soccer game, you have to be in good shape very good shape. I will try for myself, its another challenge and i am sure it will help the league in America, help the team.

'I will train a lot, and if the coach needs me, maybe (return to playing).

The Brazil legend also told Sports Illustrated. ''I will try to play some games, this year i will train a lot. The last three years i didn't because i was to busy with some other stuff.    

Maybe if we get to the final and I'm feeling good, why not? i will put my name in the NASL as an option."

Ronaldo won the World Cup with Brazil in 1994 and 2002, finishing as top-scorer in the 94 mundia with eight goals.
He also played for Barcelona, PSV Eindhovan, Inter Milan and Real Madrid with Laurels, before later ending his football career with Corinthians in Brazilian league.
