Australian Open 2015: Nadal Lost To Tomas Berdych for the first Time ever in Grand Slam Event

Spaniard Rafael Nadal lost in the first time ever in a Grand slam to Cezch Republic,Tomas Berdych in straight sets 6-2 6-0 7-6 to progress into the semi finals of the Australian Open, in Melbourne.

Berdych also avoided becoming the first man to lose 18 straight tour-level long tennis matches against a single player. This win over Nadal marked his first win since 2006 Madrid quarter-finals.

The 29-year-old Berdych has not dropped a set this fortnight, and awaits the winner between British man Andy Murray and 19-year-old Australian Nick Kyrgios who face off in the night session.

Former Eaglets Coach Musa Abdullahi Dies of illness

Former coach of the Flying Eagles and Golden Eaglets has died after several years of battling with stroke and buried same day on Sunday according to the Muslim rites at about 5pm.

The late Coach led the Golden Eaglets to a second place finish at 2001 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago 

Coach Abdullahi died at the age of 61. He was born in Kogi State and was buried at the family house in Koton Karfe, the Kogi Local Government Area headquarters according to reports.

Equatorial Guinea Send Off Gabon to reach Quarter-finals
